Can Tho plans to build an artistic flower street worth about 6 billion VND.

The 2026 Art Flower Street carries a message about the will and determination of Can Tho City to rise in the new era, the era of rising up.

On August 15, a leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho city said that it had just approved the design plan for the Can Tho art flower street in 2026 with the theme "Happy Tet".

The flower street aims to bring joy and excitement to welcome the 14th National Party Congress; at the same time, it also conveys a message about the city's will and determination to rise in the new era, the era of rising up.

The art flower street is located on Vo Van Tan and Nguyen Thai Hoc streets (Ninh Kieu ward) with a length of 310m with 3 sections: Spring Country, Can Tho Past and Present, Can Tho Stretching.

The main gate is a model of three galloping horses, also known as "Luc Ma", conveying a message as a wish for the economic and social development of the city to go up with will and determination; and as a wish for upcoming projects and plans to be completed more quickly than expected and achieve better results than expected.

On both sides of the main gate are two giant apricot trees with models of apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, bamboo leaves, combined with motion effects and lighting effects.

The flower art street also has a group of photos displaying the history and achievements of Can Tho city (after the merger) throughout the past and present. Interspersed are spaces displaying various types of orchids for visitors to enjoy, creating attraction, combined with the displayed images.

The stage serves nightly performances, designed in the style of lotus petals, with the main color red as a wish for good luck in the new year. Along with that is a technology model, artificial intelligence with effects and interactions with visitors.

The implementation cost (not including the cost of operating the flower street) is about 6 billion VND, which is socialized. The expected operating time is from February 14, 2026 to February 21 (from December 27 to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year).
