A Russian male tourist was stuck in a rapid waterfall in Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district, and was successfully rescued by police using ropes.
At around 2:30 p.m. on October 29, a male tourist, about 31 years old, was stuck on a cliff at the foot of a waterfall more than ten meters high, in the Suoi Mo Khe Ram area.
Due to the strong current and high cliff, the victim could not move and had to cling to a rock cavity halfway up the waterfall. Witnesses called the authorities for help.

The 114 Information Center mobilized 3 rescue vehicles from Hoa Vang District Police, Lien Chieu District Police, and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to assist.
Rescuers had to travel more than 1 km of steep, rocky forest road, then swing across a raging waterfall to reach the scene to rescue the victims.

The police then equipped the victim with a life buoy, secured the rope and slowly pulled the male tourist away from the accident site to safety.
Khe Ram Valley has a charming landscape with rocky outcrops of different shapes located in the streams. This place is the buffer zone of Ba Na - Nui Chua Nature Reserve and Bach Ma National Park, with a system of rapids, streams, formed from mountain ranges with an average height of 200 m above sea level, is an attractive destination for backpackers.
