In the first months of the year, the economic and social situation of Cao Bang province continued to improve, with the total import and export turnover of goods through Cao Bang province reaching nearly 842 million USD, an increase of more than 66% over the same period.
Budget revenue in the area reached 2,394 billion VND, equal to 115% of the budget revenue estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. Disbursement of public investment capital reached 2,258 billion VND, equal to nearly 41% of the plan. There were 74 newly established enterprises in the locality, with a total registered charter capital of 293 billion VND. Economic growth in the first 6 months of the year in Cao Bang province reached 6.56%.
Thanks to the attention paid to investment in building facilities and standardizing the teaching staff, 187/503 schools in the province have met national standards; in 2025, the locality has allocated 508 billion VND to repair facilities and nearly 147 billion VND to purchaseeducational equipment for schools.
The tourism sector continued to achieve good growth, the locality welcomed 1.43 million visitors, equal to 57% of the plan; tourism revenue was estimated at VND 1,453 billion; room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments reached 58%.
Localities in the province have disbursed 229 billion VND to support the removal of 6,644 temporary and dilapidated houses. The remaining 58 temporary and dilapidated houses will be supported to be repaired and renovated in the coming time.
National defense and security were ensured, the work of building a clean and strong Party was focused on and well implemented, and Party cells admitted 628 new Party members. In 56 communes and wards in the province, the communal government maintained the smooth and effective operation of the two-level local government.
At the conference, delegates discussed solutions to strive to achieve an economic growth rate of 8% in 2025. Regarding some difficulties in facilities, human resources, and equipment serving digital transformation in communes and wards, comrade Quan Minh Cuong requested that all levels and sectors pay attention and promptly remove and overcome them for the commune level.
The Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee emphasized that all levels, sectors and localities need to pay attention to and remove difficulties and obstacles, moving towards a service-oriented administration, for the satisfaction of the people and businesses. When all levels, sectors and localities are proactive and actively involved, paying attention to solving difficulties for businesses, creating favorable conditions for businesses, businesses will come to Cao Bang to find investment and business opportunities.
In the agricultural sector, the Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary suggested that functional sectors and localities pay attention to supporting enterprises, cooperatives and people to invest in developing high-tech agriculture effectively.
