On May 25, the Senior Journalists Club - Quang Ngai Provincial Journalists Association held its 3rd Congress, term 2024 - 2029.
The Senior Journalists Club is an organization under the Provincial Journalists Association, established in July 2012. Up to now, the Club has 32 members, all of whom are retired officials, journalists, and members of the Provincial Journalists Association from local and central press agencies based in Quang Ngai .

During the 2017 - 2023 term, the Club's Executive Board actively supported members; organized tours for members in a number of localities; advised the Provincial People's Committee leaders to meet with club members at the end of 2019. The Club's Executive Board attended a number of meetings organized by the Provincial Journalists Association and attended the 5th Congress of the Women's Journalists Club in 2023.
Members continue to participate in the activities of the Club and the Provincial Journalists Association, participate in the annual provincial and central press awards. Contribute ideas to build the Club and the Provincial Journalists Association to become stronger and stronger. Organize visits to members when they are sick, help elderly members who encounter difficulties and misfortunes in life...
At the congress, delegates unanimously elected a new Executive Committee of the Senior Journalists Club consisting of 3 members. Of which, journalist Nguyen Mau Tri was elected as Chairman of the Senior Journalists Club for the 2024-2029 term.
