The Yen Bai Women Journalists Club organized a meeting to review the fine traditions and moral qualities of Vietnamese women; and to share experiences in journalism activities of female journalists. The club currently has 34 members, who are reporters, editors, announcers, and technicians at press agencies in the province.

In recent times, female journalists in general and the members of the Women Journalists Club in particular have received attention, encouragement and favorable conditions from the Provincial Journalists Association and leaders of press agencies. They have overcome difficulties to both excellently complete their assigned tasks and fulfill their duties as wives and mothers in the family, increasingly affirming their position, role and voice in the current press life, making important contributions to the continuous development of the provincial press.
In the past year, many female journalists of the Club have enthusiastically participated in provincial press awards, national press awards, and national radio and television festivals. Many Club members have achieved high results in competitions, including 1 B prize at the National Press Award.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Journalists Association and leaders of the provincial press agencies presented flowers and gifts to the female members of the Journalists Club and wished the female journalists to achieve more success, contributing positively to the cause of journalism innovation in Yen Bai province.
The meeting is also an opportunity for female journalists to exchange and share experiences, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encouraging each other to be diligent and balance work and family.
