| Leaders of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee and delegates exchanged views on the sidelines of the Investment Connection Conference between the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee and the Gyeongbuk Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association ( thuộc the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association). |
South Korea is currently one of the largest foreign investors in Vietnam, with a cumulative registered capital of tens of billions of USD. In Thai Nguyen province alone, over 235 FDI projects have attracted more than 13 billion USD, with Korean businesses accounting for a significant proportion and playing an important role in industrial development, especially in the electronics and supporting industries. These figures demonstrate that the potential for cooperation between businesses of the two countries remains wide open.
Women's business organizations are becoming an effective networking channel, contributing to more flexible investment promotion activities. Free from the constraints of traditional diplomatic procedures, they approach partners proactively, openly, and substantively, thereby bridging gaps and building trust.
At the recent Investment Connection Conference between the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province and the Gyeongbuk Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association (part of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association), many businesses from both sides had the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and find suitable partners, opening up new avenues for cooperation.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Ha Thai Tea Joint Stock Company: Through exchanges with Korean businesses, we find markets for our products, while also learning management experience and brand building.
From the perspective of a service business, Ms. Tran Nu Ngoc Anh, Director of May Plaza Hotel, commented: The connection between female entrepreneurs creates a sense of trust. Businesses can easily share and exchange information frankly, and many opportunities for cooperation begin from simple conversations.

Networking activities also help international partners better understand the local investment environment. Ms. Nam Yeong Nam, President of the Gyeongbuk Province Women Entrepreneurs Association, highly appreciated the proactive approach of the Thai Nguyen business community, stating that these activities support Korean businesses in identifying suitable cooperation directions.
Cooperation stemming from soft diplomacy often begins on a small scale but is highly substantive. From agricultural product consumption and food processing to tourism and logistics services, businesses gradually build trust and expand cooperation, aiming to form sustainable supply chains.
Thai Nguyen is aiming to attract high-quality investment into sectors such as high technology, supporting industries, clean energy, and value-added agriculture. In this process, the role of business networking organizations is becoming increasingly prominent.
Associations and organizations contribute to supporting investment promotion and creating a friendly business ecosystem where investors can find reliable partners.
