(Dan Tri) - Mr. Chu Duc Viet went to the royal poinciana tree in Van Tri lagoon 3 times in a row in half a month. He brought along tables and chairs as if going camping, leisurely sitting and enjoying tea and the scenery.
Recently, the rows of royal poinciana trees blooming bright red in Van Tri lagoon (Dong Anh, Hanoi ) have become a favorite destination for Hanoians . This area has a lake with rows of royal poinciana trees, and many large plots of land, a peaceful suburban scene. Mr. Chu Duc Viet (37 years old, Tay Ho, Hanoi) accidentally learned about this place through social networking sites. As a person who loves camping and picnicking, Mr. Viet did not hesitate to "dress up" for a relaxing day trip. The peace by Van Tri Lake with the bright red phoenix flowers blooming is completely separate from the hustle and bustle of the central city. To fully enjoy this scene, Mr. Viet brought a camping chair, a folding table, a small speaker, a coffee maker or sometimes a teapot. "My job is just to choose a royal poinciana tree with a wide canopy, a lot of parking space, then arrange my things and sit down to enjoy the view," Mr. Viet said. The brilliant red of the royal poinciana flowers is softened by the calm, blue lake. Visitors can come here to fish. According to Mr. Viet, every few dozen meters in this area there is an ancient royal poinciana tree, planted along the lake. Because it is located in the suburbs, it is completely isolated from the urban life. At present, Van Tri lagoon is a popular tourist destination, so many people come to take pictures. To take advantage of the quiet time, Mr. Viet travels between 12-15 hours. "The midday sun is very strong so there will be fewer people, but if you want to take good photos, sunlight is also very important. In addition, there are many trees here, a lake, and few high-rise buildings so it's not too hot," the male tourist suggested. Royal poinciana flowers in the lagoon are at their most beautiful blooming stage and last until the end of May. There are no restaurant services around Van Tri lagoon, and no fee is charged for visitors to come and see the flowers and take photos. This unique Van Tri lagoon is about 7km from Nhat Tan bridge. From the main road to the shore of the lagoon is about 500m, the road is dirt but quite easy to go. Visitors should remember to clean up their trash after leaving to keep the space airy and clean.
