Working deep underground, Vu The Thu, Production Team Leader of Mechanized Mining Site 1 (Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company), is a shining example of a skilled miner. With 18 years dedicated to the profession, Thu has always been at the forefront of challenging tasks, acting as a "locomotive" driving the morale and productivity of the entire production team. With a spirit of continuous innovation, Thu developed the solution "Installing an oil suction line for the BRW315/31.5 liquid pumping station," which helps improve the working environment and increase production efficiency.

"Creative work is an integral part of today's miners' culture. For me, each innovation not only brings efficiency but also reflects the pride of a modern-day miner," shared Vu The Thu.

Not only is Mr. Thu technically skilled, but he is also dedicated to mentoring younger workers. In 2024, he helped many new workers master their skills, shorten their apprenticeship time, and quickly integrate into the production team. Making his mark with the "Roll Removal Tool," Mr. Nam has helped reduce yarn roll change time by 50%, contributing to increased production and product quality. "I consider each innovation a way for us workers to proactively overcome difficulties and bridge the gap with modern technology," Mr. Nam shared. Furthermore, Mr. Nam directly trained 8 new workers in 2024, organized apprenticeship sessions, and shared experiences to help the entire team progress.

The Coal Industry Trade Union also effectively maintains activities such as quarterly birthday celebrations for miners, family gatherings for miners, helping to strengthen camaraderie among colleagues, and connecting families with the workplace. Cultural and sports centers, clubs for workers away from home, legal libraries, and the "After the 8th Hour" program... have all become bright spots spreading a healthy spiritual life among workers.

It can be affirmed that building a worker culture in Quang Ninh is not just a slogan, but is being formed through concrete actions, useful initiatives, and the genuine support of the trade union organization.
