In recent days, many young people in Ha Tinh have gathered to take photos at a Christmas tree made from 2,400 conical hats, about 30 meters high, at Duc Vong parish, Son Giang commune, Huong Son district to welcome Christmas 2024.

At Duc Vong parish, parishioners built a Christmas tree made from 2,400 conical hats. Each hat is fitted with a light bulb to create a sparkling Christmas tree, attracting many young people and locals to visit every night.

This year, parishioners made a Christmas tree about 30 meters high, forming a 3-story tower. The cost was supported by parishioners.

A parishioner at Duc Vong parish said: “This special pine tree was completed in 1 month, with dozens of parishioners participating every day to complete the project. Every step was carefully done by the ironworkers because all the conical hats are connected to light bulbs.”

With its large size, parishioners have planned to calculate wind resistance, strengthening cables to make the tree durable and safe.

Thousands of conical hats are arranged in neat rows and layers, each conical hat has lights attached, tinsel and balls wrapped around it.

Every evening, this "giant" pine tree, nearly 30 meters high, will be lit up and sparkle at night.

This is considered one of the most unique pine trees in Ha Tinh during Christmas 2024, attracting a lot of attention from many tourists.

People used their phones to record images of the unique pine tree next to the church.

According to the representative of Duc Vong parish, this conical pine tree is lit up throughout the Christmas season, serving the needs of everyone visiting and admiring. This is the third year the church has decorated the Christmas tree with conical pine trees. The cost of the project was supported by parishioners.
