During the hot days of June, officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security are still diligently practicing to prepare for the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
These days, many police officers are still diligently practicing for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). At the station of the 3rd Mobile Police Battalion, Northwest Mobile Police Regiment (Yen Thinh Ward, Yen Bai City, Yen Bai Province), more than 800 officers and soldiers are practicing. According to Lieutenant Colonel Pham Anh Le, Deputy Commander of the Capital Mobile Police Regiment - Deputy Commander of the Ministry of Public Security 's Parade Command, the officers and soldiers here are practicing with 4 standing blocks including: Block of male People's Security officers; Block of male Mobile Police officers; Block of male Mobile Police soldiers and Block of male forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level. Each block consists of 173 officers and soldiers who continuously practice standing for about two sessions a day, including 2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon, regularly 6 days a week. Every officer and soldier practicing must follow the style and, importantly, stand in the correct positions. The positions are arranged in rows and are pre-strung with ropes to ensure neat ranks.
To stand in line with neat manners under the continuous heat not only requires good physical strength but also the will, perseverance and patience of each officer and soldier. The officers and soldiers here were mobilized from many units under the Mobile Police Command. Many officers and soldiers participated in the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification last April. Captain Tran Trong Vinh, Head of the People's Security Officers' Block, is an example. He participated in the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, and before that, the 70th Anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. For Captain Vinh, participating in these great ceremonies is a great honor. Despite having to constantly be away from their families and undergoing difficult training, Captain Vinh and many other teammates are always determined to complete their assigned tasks. Lieutenant Colonel Pham Anh Le said that currently the training force can stand continuously for 135 minutes, exceeding the target (120 minutes). Leaving Yen Bai, we went to Hanoi National University (Hoa Lac, Thach That, Hanoi), where about 4,000 People's Public Security officers are also practicing day and night. Under the intense heat of early summer, sweat poured down but officers and soldiers still diligently practiced each movement. Each movement is practiced precisely so that when moving it forms a unified block. A soldier with a sweaty shirt is a common sight at the training ground these days. Despite the hardship, all the officers and soldiers I met said they felt honored to be able to participate in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
