Cen Group is about to launch Cen EcoTech Vocational College

The Vietnamese labor market is facing a paradox: millions of people of working age are unemployed, however, many businesses are "red-eyed" looking for skilled personnel with professional skills and attitudes. Faced with this situation, Cen Group is preparing to launch the College of Economics and Technology (Cen EcoTech) as a strategic step, contributing to the training of real human resources, aiming at the goal of social security and sustainable development.

Labor market paradox

According to the General Statistics Office - Ministry of Finance , in the second quarter of 2025 alone, the whole country had more than 1.06 million unemployed people. Notably, the youth force from 15 to 24 years old had no job and did not participate in any training program - accounting for 10.1% of the young labor force. These numbers sound the alarm about the instability in the current human resource structure.

On the other hand, the Labor Market Report for the second quarter of 2025 shows that 56.2% of businesses are planning to expand their workforce this year, albeit in a more cautious and selective manner. The demand is concentrated mostly in the business and sales sectors, accounting for 54%, especially service sectors such as real estate, restaurants, hotels, nursing, customer care, etc., which are all in a state of severe "thirst" for human resources. Many businesses have to retrain from scratch, increasing personnel costs and slowing down the growth rate.

This creates a long-standing paradox: society has an excess of workers looking for jobs but a serious shortage of workers who meet the actual requirements of businesses. The problem lies not in the number of jobs or the number of workers, but in the quality of training and the mismatch between education and market demand.

In that context, young people easily fall into a vicious cycle: unemployment or working in the wrong field, unstable income, while businesses are constantly recruiting and not enough staff.

According to education expert, Dr. Giap Van Duong, one of the reasons why graduates work in fields other than their majors is due to the impact of the law of supply and demand and market competition. “Schools do not closely follow the labor needs of society, due to incorrect or no forecasts, so the supply and demand of different professions are too different. In addition, the lack of career guidance before choosing a major, along with the rapid fluctuations of the labor market, also makes it difficult for students to follow the profession they have been trained for.”

Cen EcoTech was born from the strategy of creating human resources for the mission of social security.

Recognizing the gap in the labor market, Cen Group - a company with 23 years of experience in the real estate services sector - is always steadfast in its mission to solve the "pains" of the market. Not only stopping at providing sustainable housing solutions for customers, partners and the community, Cen Group continues to worry about social security issues: career orientation, focusing on practical training, job support, solving the problem of unemployment for young workers, gradually building a strategic and long-term housing and social security ecosystem. Therefore, Cen Group launched the College of Economics and Technology (Cen EcoTech) with the mission of creating a real human resource with professional skills, professional ethics and ready to meet the great needs of the labor market.

Taking training quality as the core value, ensuring employment for students immediately after graduation, Cen EcoTech targets the young workforce - the force that is under the greatest pressure on employment and income. The big difference lies in the approach to the dual training model: 70% practice and 30% theory, combining theory with practice, connecting students with the professional environment right during the learning process. Learning is flexibly designed in the form of direct and online combination, helping learners to be proactive with their time, save costs, and at the same time approach businesses sooner.

Cen EcoTech is the first College in the North to train in Real Estate Business.

Besides majors with high demand for human resources such as Hotel and Restaurant Management, Nursing and Languages, Cen EcoTech affirms its pioneering position by focusing on training in Real Estate Business Administration.

Cen EcoTech is known as the first college in the North to open this attractive major. In particular, students majoring in Real Estate Business Administration will be trained in a practical model right at the system of member companies and a network of hundreds of partners of Cen Group. This opens up the opportunity to receive income right from the first semester, an outstanding competitive advantage in the labor market.

With this approach, Cen EcoTech not only trains human resources who know how to work and can do the job, but also directly accompanies businesses in selecting, training and using labor in accordance with practical market requirements.

At Cen EcoTech, the young workforce is guided by the right career mindset, has standard skills and clear job opportunities. Cen Group's expansion of the ecosystem with Cen EcoTech College, creating human resources in the direction of practice - industry, linking training with recruitment, linking learning with work, contributing to creating a foundation for young people to confidently conquer the labor market and master the future.
