At a conference in Beijing, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang surprisingly admitted that he regrets not studying physics when he was young. According to him, software alone is not enough to keep up with new waves of technology such as AI and physical robots.
He believes that physics and physical engineering help shape thinking from theoretical foundations to practical hardware applications. Nvidia's success comes not just from software, but also from GPU design based on a deep understanding of the natural world .
Huang warns that if young people only learn to code without understanding hardware, they could be left behind in the technology race. He urged students to get early exposure to AI and combine software, hardware, microarchitecture and electronic engineering. According to him, future AI will need physical intelligence - controlling robots, self-driving cars and manipulating in real environments.
And to do that, physics will be the “native language” that helps AI understand, interact, and develop sustainably. Dear readers, please watch more videos : AI Trash Cleaning | Hanoi 18:00
