Vietnam national team gathers after round 16 of V-League
It is known that after the end of round 16 of V-League 2024 - 2025, the Vietnam team will gather to prepare for the final qualifying round of Asian Cup 2027. The matches of round 16 of V-League will take place in 3 days, from March 7 to 9.
This gathering is different from previous ones, when the Vietnamese team chose Binh Duong Stadium (the home ground of Binh Duong Club in V-League) as their "new home" in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup. According to the draw results, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team are in Group F with Malaysia, Nepal and Laos. The matches will take place during the FIFA Days from March 25, 2025 to March 31, 2026. At home, the Vietnamese team will play matches against Laos on March 25, 2025, Nepal on October 9, 2025 and Malaysia on March 31, 2026.
