Although I am not rich, I want to help those in difficult circumstances by giving them free haircuts. Every afternoon, the shop will send 10 barbers and students to the park to provide free haircuts to people. On average, the group provides haircuts to 20-30 customers per day.”
Mr. Lu Chi Cuong in Ward 2, Cao Lanh City commented: "The haircut is free, but the barbers are very attentive, enthusiastic, always welcoming, asking if the customer is satisfied and ready to make adjustments until the customer is satisfied." Not only Mr. Cuong, many people who come to get their hair cut are satisfied with the enthusiasm of this group of young people who do good work. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Trang in Ward 1, Cao Lanh City shared: "Currently, my family's economy is still difficult, so saving as much as possible is good. I am very happy with the kindness of the young barbers. They really help many people, especially those who have many difficulties in life."
Along with business activities and hair service, Tieu Long also actively participates in many charity programs such as: Free haircut charity program at parks, schools, hospitals, Social Protection Centers... Initially, the locations were changed twice a month, but now, the volunteer haircut team operates regularly at Cao Lanh City Children's Park from 3-5 pm every day.
In addition, Long also supports students with difficulties in accommodation, supports vocational training tools, gives gifts to poor families, and students in difficult circumstances. "I think that youth is about dedicating oneself to passion, hoping that our small actions can help aunts, uncles, and children have the most neat hair. Hopefully, our work will create a spread so that many people in difficult circumstances can be helped" - Tieu Long confided.
After nearly half a year of providing free haircuts, the 9x guy and his barbershop staff not only gave smiles to the poor, but also received a lot of warmth in return.
