The Congress of B'Lao Ward Party Committee took place in the context of the ward being newly established under the 2-level local government model. This is an important political milestone, opening a new development path. The ward's cadres and people believe and expect that in the new term, the ward's Party Committee will continue to lead the development of B'Lao Ward to develop comprehensively in the new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
B'Lao Ward was merged from B'Lao Ward, Loc Son Ward and Loc Nga Commune (old Bao Loc City), with a natural area of 33.72 km2 , population of more than 51,500 people. The ward Party Committee currently has 71 affiliated party cells, with 1,400 party members.
Inheriting the achieved results and existing advantages, after the merger, the local socio -economy continues to develop in the right direction. The material and spiritual life of the people is improved. The average income per capita by the end of 2025 is estimated to reach 81 million VND.
The work of building the Party and the political system has achieved many positive results; the great solidarity bloc of the people has been constantly consolidated. Comrade Hoang Bao Nguyen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of B'Lao Ward, believes: Besides the difficulties, the locality has inherited many existing advantages. B'Lao Ward is currently the industrial development center in the South of the province, with Loc Son Industrial Park being increasingly filled. In which, the main industries are the processing of agricultural products such as coffee, tea, silk... and supporting industries such as garment, construction...
Along with that, tourism and trade are increasingly developing and expanding, creating opportunities for B'Lao ward to attract large-scale, modern investment. Currently, in the ward, there is Truong Hai Auto Trade Center; a chain of hotels, restaurants, and services of Sandals Group, a system of Bach Hoa Xanh supermarkets, and a well-invested homestay service.
Education and training continue to receive attention, the quality of education is increasingly improved, and facilities for teaching and learning are invested in and deployed synchronously. Currently, the rate of solidification of classrooms and schools is 89%, the rate of public schools meeting national standards level 1 is 100% and the rate of level 2 standards is 66.7%. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for local children to study and practice.
The local health system is well-established with two hospitals, Lam Dong II Hospital and Traditional Medicine Hospital, and many clinics and high-quality medical facilities. This is an important condition for the locality to do a good job of taking care of the people's health.
National defense and security are strengthened, ensuring readiness to protect the Party, government and people in all situations. This is an important condition for B'Lao ward to focus on building and developing the economy and society in the right direction.
With the motto "Democracy - Discipline - Solidarity - Creativity - Development", the 1st Congress of B'Lao Ward Party Committee clearly defined the general goal by 2030 as building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; ensuring national defense and security; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; proactively innovating, creating, and mobilizing all resources to build B'Lao Ward to develop quickly and sustainably.
Comrade Nguyen Trung Kien, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary of B'Lao Ward informed: From the general goal, B'Lao Ward closely follows the guiding viewpoints, goals, targets, and specific tasks according to the plans and programs of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee to effectively organize the implementation of the "4 pillars" of innovation and reform according to the Politburo's resolutions on private economic development in accordance with the local practical situation. From there, set out key goals, tasks, breakthroughs, and each specific target and task in the 2025-2030 term, bringing B'Lao Ward to accelerate steady development into a new era, an era of national growth.
In the new term, the key tasks that are focused on throughout are to build a clean and strong Party Committee of B'Lao Ward, innovate leadership methods, improve the quality of Party cell activities; resolutely fight against signs of ideological and moral degradation. The Ward focuses on effectively implementing Conclusion 01-KL/TW on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Build a team of cadres with sufficient qualifications, capacity, revolutionary qualities and a high sense of responsibility; promote the leading, exemplary, daring to think and dare to do role of the leader. In addition, continue to strongly reform administration, develop e-government, improve the quality of public services for the people.
The local economic structure has shifted reasonably and in the right direction. The proportion of industry and construction accounts for 54.5%, trade and service accounts for 37.6% and agriculture accounts for 7.9%. These are the conditions for B'Lao ward to focus on socio-economic development to build a comprehensive local development ready to enter a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
