Celebrating the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's Traditional Day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2025): Outstanding young people

Enthusiastic in union work, passionate about startups, or always devoted to studying, scientific research and social activities..., typical young people like Truong Ngoc Long, Nguyen Huu Truc and Bui Ngoc Ha Duy are shining examples in all fields, demonstrating the spirit of initiative, daring to think, daring to do, and dedication in the young generation.

Enthusiastic about union work

As an exemplary union official, with his dynamism, creativity and enthusiasm, Mr. Truong Ngoc Long (born in 1995), member of the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU), is always at the forefront of local activities. With many years of experience in youth work at the Nha Trang City Youth Union (old), he has advised and implemented many meaningful models and activities, creating a strong influence. Notable examples include: Organizing training and testing of Vietnam Youth Union working skills for 3,000 officials, members, and key union members of affiliated youth unions; advising on organizing the "Exchange trash for trees" Festival, helping students form the habit of sorting trash, raising awareness of saving, knowing how to plant and care for trees; organizing the Children's Summer Camp "I am a navy soldier", "I am an air force soldier", "Learning to be a useful person" from 2017 to 2024; or volunteer activities such as "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday" attract hundreds of young people to participate with a total socialized budget of more than 250 million VND...

Mr. Long's most remarkable mark is the founding and effective maintenance of the Sao Mai Xanh Skills Club (Nam Nha Trang Ward). Over the past 11 years, the club has become a "common home" for hundreds of young people each year, a place for them to practice skills, participate in team activities, and participate in picnics and camps. Not only creating a useful playground, the Sao Mai Xanh Skills Club under the leadership of Mr. Long is also an environment to educate revolutionary ideals, foster love for the homeland, country and a sense of responsibility to the community for the young generation with many practical activities. This is an effective model of gathering young people, with the potential to be replicated, contributing to innovating the association's operating methods in the new period.

With his contributions to the work of the Youth Union, Mr. Truong Ngoc Long was honored to receive many certificates of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Provincial People's Committee... On October 11, 2025, he was honored to be the only individual representing the youth of Khanh Hoa province to receive the Central "October 15" Award from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

Young people start a business with stingless bee model

Born in 1992, graduated from university with a degree in banking, but Mr. Nguyen Huu Truc (Bao An ward) chose to start a business with a stingless bee farming model. Mr. Truc said that with the desire to create a personal economic model, he researched documents and models on stingless bee farming. When implementing farming, in addition to applying traditional farming methods, he applied technology to production such as a system that automatically adjusts technical parameters on mobile devices (humidity, density to the number of colonies, nest separation time...). A stingless bee nest can be harvested twice with more than 1 liter of honey/year; in particular, stingless bee honey is always 10-20 times more expensive than honey bees. With a stingless bee farming model of about ^60m2 , each year, Mr. Truc has an income of about 300 million VND.

In addition, Mr. Truc researched and planted more than 50 species of ornamental leaves, cacti and fruit trees in pots, aiming to form a model of "Home garden in the city". This idea not only brings economic value, but also creates landscape, keeping up with the green transformation trend. During the development process, his model has contributed to creating jobs for idle workers and local youth, inspiring entrepreneurship for other union members and youth.

With the effectiveness and uniqueness of the idea, Mr. Truc's "Jichi Honey Bee Farm" economic model has attracted many domestic and foreign friends to visit, learn and exchange experiences. From the beginning of 2024 until now, his economic model has been visited by more than 30 domestic and foreign delegations. "I am still continuing to innovate the model, aiming to implement an eco-tourism development model, experiencing at honeybee farms. Jichi honey honey products have been recognized as 3-star OCOP standard products with the name of ornamental honeybees raised in townhouses," said Mr. Truc.

With initial results, Mr. Nguyen Huu Truc won the third prize in the national competition "Rural Youth Startup Project 2022" organized by the Central Youth Union; was awarded a certificate of merit by the Ninh Thuan Provincial Youth Union (old) for "Outstanding Youth at the age of 30" in 2022 and a certificate of merit for outstanding achievements in implementing the "Creative Youth" movement in the period 2020 - 2022; was awarded a certificate of merit by the Vietnam Beekeeping Association in recognition of his contributions in building and developing the stingless beekeeping model (sting bee)...

Having just graduated with excellent grades in the field of literature - journalism and communication, Khanh Hoa University, Bui Ngoc Ha Duy (born in 2003) is a typical example in studying and scientific research with excellent academic achievements, achieving the title of "5 Good Students" at the Central level for the 2023 - 2024 school year, actively spreading values ​​for the community.

Born and raised in Nha Trang, with a passion for literature, Ha Duy chose to study literature - journalism and communications when entering university. Throughout his studies, Duy constantly cultivated and improved his knowledge and skills. In addition to his good academic achievements, Ha Duy also actively participated in competitions, academic activities, scientific research and achieved positive results, such as: Winning the encouragement prize in the final round of the 25th Euréka Student Scientific Research Award in 2023; first prize in the 2023 Non-major English Olympic Competition at school level; encouragement prize in the "Master English - Master Your Life" Competition within the framework of the Khanh Hoa People Speak English Project in 2024; winning the "Solid Future" scholarship in 2024 from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association; is a delegate attending the National Conference "Research and teaching foreign languages, linguistics and international studies in Vietnam" UNC2024 of the University of Languages ​​and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi...

Ha Duy is also a familiar face in the school's volunteer work and union with many times participating in humanitarian blood donation, "Spring Volunteer" programs, "Peak Day of Volunteering to Join Hands in Building New Rural Areas" and "Green Sunday" of the School Union; donating hair to cancer patients... "Even though I have graduated and left school, I will continue to participate in social activities, especially in the field that I am very interested in: environment and sustainable development", Ha Duy shared.
