Welcome to National Digital Transformation Day 2024

(E-Portal) On the morning of October 12, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation chaired the program to celebrate National Digital Transformation Day 2024. Attending at the Quang Tri province bridge were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam and representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.

On April 22, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 505/QD-TTg, taking October 10 every year as National Digital Transformation Day to accelerate the implementation of national digital transformation tasks, effectively implementing the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

In 2024, national digital transformation has the theme: Developing the digital economy with 4 pillars of information technology industry, digitalization of economic sectors, digital governance, digital data - Important driving force for fast and sustainable socio-economic development.

The program to celebrate the National Digital Transformation Day 2024 is the third consecutive year it has been held, demonstrating the determination of the Party, the State, the political system, the business community and the people of the whole country to join hands in national digital transformation, developing the digital economy, digital society and digital citizens. This is also a message that clearly demonstrates Vietnam's determination to pursue the digital transformation revolution in a profound, comprehensive, substantive and effective manner to promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, improve the material and spiritual life of the people and modernize national governance, bringing benefits to all people and the country.

In Quang Tri, the province has identified digital transformation as a trend and a driving force to create breakthroughs for sustainable and comprehensive development. On that basis, the province has issued relevant documents as a basis for implementation.

According to the plan, by 2025, 100% of online public services will be provided on the province's online public service portal at https://dichvucong.quangtri.gov.vn; 100% of records with financial obligations will be implemented for online payment, 100% of department-level work records will be processed online (except for work records within the scope of state secrets), 100% of reporting regimes and periodic reporting indicators of the Department will be connected, integrated, and digital data will be shared on the province's reporting information system. According to statistics from the provincial Social Insurance, as of September 23, 2024, the whole province had 11,791/25,538 subjects paid through accounts, reaching 46.17%. In order to continue promoting effective implementation at the local level, by the end of 2025, strive to achieve a rate of 60% of pensioners, social insurance benefits, and unemployment benefits in urban areas to be paid through non-cash payment methods...

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: Digital transformation is an inevitable trend, an objective requirement, a strategic choice, a top priority for rapid and sustainable development; it is the cause of the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people, contributing to realizing the aspiration of building a strong, prosperous country, a prosperous and happy people, leaving no one behind in the new era - the era of national growth... According to the Prime Minister, the program to celebrate National Digital Transformation Day aims to demonstrate the determination of the Party, the State, the political system, the business community and the people of the whole country to join hands in national digital transformation, developing the digital economy, digital society, and digital citizens. The event also conveyed the Government's message of determination to pursue the digital transformation revolution in a profound, comprehensive, substantive and effective manner to promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, improve the material and spiritual life of the people and modernize national governance, bringing benefits to all people and the country.
