The student who was the valedictorian of block A00 returned to the coastal school for the first time.

(Dan Tri) - The student who did not attend extra classes, won the top position in the A00 block nationwide with 3 perfect scores of 10, shared his dream of becoming a teacher.

Since the Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, teachers at Dinh Tien Hoang High School (Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) were very happy to have the first national valedictorian in block A with 3 scores of 10. The owner of the 3 scores of 10 in math - physics - chemistry is the small student Phan Quang Hien Vinh.

On the afternoon of July 16, the Board of Directors of Dinh Tien Hoang High School (Thang Tam Ward, Vung Tau City, former Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) held a friendly meeting to honor and reward valedictorian Phan Quang Hien Vinh.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Vinh got 30 points in block A00 (math - physics - chemistry), becoming one of the 9 valedictorians nationwide to achieve perfect scores.

At the meeting and commendation, Phan Quang Hien Vinh shared that after finishing the exam and grading himself, he was sure he would get a 10 in chemistry and physics. He also graded himself a 10 in math, but he was not confident so he told his parents it was around 9.5.

According to Hien Vinh's family, Hien Vinh did not attend extra classes much, he focused on studying at school. Vinh confided that he achieved his current results thanks to the support and help of teachers at school who provided documents and reference books throughout his 3 years of high school.

The co-valedictorian of the national A block shared more study secrets to achieve high results. Vinh said that for physics and chemistry, you should learn the theory first and do exercises from easy to difficult. For math, you should learn the basics. Vinh plans to apply to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education to become a teacher.

Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tan, principal of Dinh Tien Hoang High School (HCMC), said that Hien Vinh is a typical example of self-study awareness. He remembered Vinh from the times the school reviewed lessons for students. When he went to check, he always saw Vinh sitting quietly in a corner of the room solving problems by himself.

In all three years of studying at the school, I scored above 9 points. In the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, I scored 9.6 points, in the top group. "My dream is to become a teacher, so I will soon study pedagogy at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education," Vinh said.
