Phu Thanh Ward (HCMC) gave 80 gifts to poor households

On the evening of August 30, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Thanh Ward (HCMC) organized a cultural night to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; and gave gifts to disadvantaged households.

The cultural night with the theme "Forever bright faith - Firm steps towards the future" took place with many dance and song performances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh , and love for the homeland and country.

Speaking at the program, Secretary of Phu Thanh Ward Party Committee Vo Cong Thanh said that this is an opportunity to review the heroic tradition of the nation and pay tribute to the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

At the same time, spread the belief and aspiration to build an increasingly civilized and prosperous locality, contributing to the overall development of the city named after beloved Uncle Ho.

On this occasion, Phu Thanh ward presented 80 gifts to disadvantaged households in the area (each gift worth 300,000 VND), with the hope that the families will overcome difficulties and continue to improve their lives.
