(PLVN) - By 9:00 a.m. on May 15, dozens of firefighters and many fire trucks had basically controlled a large fire at a foam manufacturing company in Song Than 3 Industrial Park, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province.

According to initial information, at around 8:00 a.m. on May 15, a large fire broke out at the SG Company Limited Factory (Lot CN17, Road No. 8 and Road D1, Song Than 3 Industrial Park, Phu Tan Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province). At this time, workers ran outside and notified the authorities.

It is known that the company has a factory floor area of ​​about 5,000m2, the fire area is about 700m2, the main combustible materials are foam, styrofoam; construction structure: steel frame, corrugated iron roof, brick wall combined with corrugated iron wall.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Fighting - Rescue Police Department of Binh Duong Province Police dispatched 1 command vehicle, 7 specialized fire trucks and 5 specialized fire trucks of industrial zones along with dozens of officers and firefighters to the scene to control the fire. By 9:15 a.m., the fire was basically under control.

Authorities are currently blocking off the scene and investigating the cause of the fire.
