Upon arriving at the scene, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team deployed to extinguish the fire. Authorities have blocked off the road through the fire area to assist in firefighting efforts.

By around 5:40 p.m., the fire was extinguished. There were no reported casualties and no significant property damage. The cause of the fire was initially determined to be an electrical short circuit.

Hanoi City Police recommends that heads of agencies, organizations, businesses, business households and people, especially commercial centers, crowded places... need to pay attention to ensuring fire safety during the National Day holiday on September 2.

Accordingly, in shopping centers and entertainment venues with large crowds, there must be an escape route diagram; a lighting system, directional lights and escape routes; and electrical protection equipment with a high level of safety must be installed, automatically cutting off the power in case of overload or fire.

In particular, it is important to turn off all unused electrical equipment when leaving the office, business establishment, company, factory, or stall during long holidays.
