Region VI Customs Branch collected 103% of the 2025 target for state budget revenue after 7 months.

According to the report of the Customs Branch of Region VI, by the end of July, the unit's budget revenue had reached 6,639 billion VND, 103% of the assigned target (6,450 billion VND), leading the entire customs sector in achieving the target of exceeding the state budget revenue up to now.

Accordingly, this budget revenue exceeded 60% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 58% of the assigned target (11,400 billion VND).

After 7 months of 2025, the activities of the Customs Branch of Region VI achieved many impressive results. The Branch has completed 53/71 key tasks, reaching 75% of the progress, and 18 tasks are still in the process of being implemented (of which, 15 tasks were on time; 38 tasks were completed ahead of schedule; No tasks were overdue or behind schedule).

In July 2025, the number of new enterprises participating in import-export activities in Lang Son province increased. Specifically, there were 1,973 enterprises participating in import-export activities (an increase of 110 enterprises, equivalent to an increase of 6% compared to June 2025, when there were 1,863 enterprises), of which 452 were new enterprises.

Accumulated from the beginning of the year to July 31, 2025, the number of enterprises participating in import-export activities through the Department is 4,333 enterprises (an increase of 32.8% compared to the same period in 2024, which was 3,263 enterprises), of which 1,401 enterprises have just participated.

Also according to the Customs Sub-Department of Region VI, from July 1, 2025 to July 31, 2025, the total import-export turnover of all types of goods will reach 7,972.3 million USD, an increase of 54% over the same period in 2024. Of which, exports will reach 2,108.5 million USD, imports will reach 5,863.7 million USD.

The turnover of goods declared at the Sub-Department reached 953.2 million USD, an increase of 127% over the same period in 2024 (import reached 612.2 million USD, export reached 341 million USD).

The unit also carried out customs procedures for the luggage of 438,798 passengers entering and leaving the country (of which 214,325 were exits and 224,473 were entries). By the end of July 31, 2025, the unit had supervised and managed 55,123 vehicles passing through the border area.

Recently, import and export activities through border gates in the area have been stable, mainly concentrated at Huu Nghi, Coc Nam, Tan Thanh, Chi Ma international border gates, Dong Dang international railway station. Binh Nghi border gates, Na Hinh, Na Nua, Po Nhung, Co Sau sub-border gates have not had any import and export activities.

In particular, the export of fresh agricultural products through Lang Son province's border gates has been bustling, especially with items such as durian, lychee, dragon fruit, etc. The Customs Branch of Region VI has closely coordinated with functional forces to deploy the "green channel", shortening customs clearance time, ensuring that goods are exported quickly and maintain quality.

The number of fruit export vehicles has increased sharply, contributing to boosting export turnover and affirming Lang Son province's important role in the agricultural supply chain.

In addition, to quickly respond to trade activities between enterprises of the two countries, the Customs Branch of Region VI has directed border gate units to arrange civil servants on duty, taking turns to receive and process customs clearance procedures for enterprises and customs declarants in a timely manner to serve the increased number of vehicles carrying goods of import-export enterprises.

Along with that, the Regional Customs Branch VI also directed the border gate Customs and the Customs Control Team to strengthen the implementation of professional customs control measures, closely monitor import and export goods, and passengers entering and exiting the country; prevent the risk of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and other violations of the law, and strictly control the areas to contribute to maintaining security and order on the border.
