Attending the ceremony were leaders of the District Party Committee, District People's Committee, agencies and units in Chi Lang district, Ethnic and Development Newspaper, Thien Uoc Volunteer Group and villagers.
According to the design, Thien Uoc 2 Bridge is 24 m long, 4 m wide, with a solid reinforced concrete structure. The total estimated cost of the bridge is over 475 million VND, of which cement and the state budget support nearly 147 million VND, people contribute 90 million VND, and Thien Uoc Volunteer Group supports over 238 million VND.
According to the plan, the project will be constructed within 1 month and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2025. When put into operation, Thien Uoc 2 Bridge will help hundreds of households in the area move more conveniently, contributing to improving the quality of life and socio -economic development in the area.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Ethnic and Development Newspaper and the Thien Uoc Volunteer Group presented money to support the bridge construction to the leaders of Quan Son commune.
On this occasion , the district leaders and the Chi Lang District Red Cross presented gifts to 10 families in difficult circumstances in Lang Hang village, Quan Son commune.
