According to Minister Gunawan, this is the result recorded within 3 months since the Red and White Cabinet was formed under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto. He emphasized that this success proves the government 's strong commitment to fighting corruption and ensuring that state assets are returned for the public interest.
Since the establishment of the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs' Corruption Prevention and Governance Improvement Coordination Board, Indonesia has successfully detected and handled many corruption cases, recovered large amounts of money, and received public support.
In addition to the Corruption Prevention and Governance Improvement Coordination Board, the confiscation of corrupt proceeds is also carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the National Police Corruption Eradication Corps, which continue to coordinate with other law enforcement agencies.
Gunawan affirmed that the anti-corruption unit continues to protect state assets. The unit includes representatives from the Attorney General’s Office and other agencies such as the Government Auditor General for Development Finance (BPKP), the National Police, the KPK, the Financial Transactions Reporting and Analysis Center (PPATK), and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
