On the afternoon of May 12, working with units on the military parade plan for September 2, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, said that it is expected that the forces and groups that participated in the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification will continue to participate on this occasion. Of which, the participating forces include 11 standing groups and 27 walking groups.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia requested the General Department of Logistics and Technology to thoroughly inspect the accommodation and meals for soldiers during training. The General Department of Defense Industry promptly proposed and produced materials, technical equipment, and vehicles to ensure good service for the parade and marching tasks.
The Hanoi Capital Command surveyed the marching routes and assembly locations after the parade to ensure they were reasonable and convenient. The training took place during the hottest month of the summer, so agencies and units needed to focus on developing flexible training plans to ensure good health for the troops.

In Ho Chi Minh City recently, a national parade was held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. The event was attended by more than 13,000 people from the parade and marching forces and 6,000 guests. Hundreds of thousands of people stood watching on the streets.
