(HGO) - Athlete Chu An Khoi has just brought home 1 individual gold medal and 1 team gold medal, U10 men's age group, rapid chess event at the 2023 Southeast Asian Youth Chess Championship. Hau Giang Chess participated in the tournament with 3 athletes, using socialized funding.

This year, the 2023 Southeast Asian Youth Chess Championship will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from June 17 to 27. Nearly 350 male and female players from 16 countries such as Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, China, India, Japan, etc. will participate and compete in individual and team events. The competitions will include standard chess, rapid chess and blitz chess for the U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, and U20 age groups.
