Building a new cultural resolution for Dong Nai province after the merger

Also attending the meeting were Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan; comrades in the Board of Directors of the Department, representatives of leaders of departments and units under the Department.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has done a good job of promoting political events of the country and the province. Cultural, sports and tourism, press and publishing activities have been implemented and achieved many results. Dong Nai tourism in the first 6 months of the year reached more than 2.8 million visitors, tourism service revenue reached over 1.9 trillion VND; the whole province has 31 tourist areas and spots, 20 tourism projects are being implemented. In the field of sports, the provincial teams participated in 122 regional, national and international sports tournaments, winning 502 medals of all kinds.

After the merger, Dong Nai has 493 types of festivals, 119 ranked relics and nearly 1,500 popular relics. In the first 6 months of the year, Dong Nai Museum welcomed more than 69,000 visitors to visit and learn; interacted via digital technology platforms over 195,000 times...

Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan reported on difficulties and obstacles; key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025; proposed and recommended the Provincial People's Committee to approve the policy of the sector to advise on building a new Cultural Resolution on the basis of 2 resolutions: Resolution No. 12 dated December 12, 2023 of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee (old) and Resolution No. 14 dated November 20, 2023 of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee (old); pay attention to promptly resolving cases of resignation according to regulations; create favorable conditions and prioritize investment in technology platforms and specialized software for publishing e-books...

Concluding the meeting, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to focus on supporting the sports sector, refer to the football development projects of some provinces and cities; propose to host some regional tournaments. In the field of libraries, support localities with book spaces, effectively spread the reading culture, and encourage socialization in these spaces.

In addition, the industry needs to pay attention to digital transformation of the tourism industry and promote and introduce Dong Nai's destinations. For degraded relics, it is necessary to organize an inventory, have a roadmap for restoration, embellishment and digitization of relic artifacts. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has reported and advised the Provincial People's Committee to build a new cultural resolution of Dong Nai after the merger.
