Proactively organize Party Congresses at all levels.

The preparations for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term are being carried out urgently and systematically in An Giang province. With a spirit of unity, innovation, and high determination, the Provincial Party Committee expects to successfully organize the congresses, creating a solid foundation for strong development in the coming period.

Unified goals, flexible methods

Over the past period, despite the busy workload during the restructuring and consolidation process, the preparation and organization of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term have been carried out on schedule, meticulously, and with high quality, affirming the political resolve and unity of the entire Party Committee. The implementation of Directive 45-CT/TW, dated April 26, 2025, of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels leading to the 14th National Congress of the Party, and related guiding documents, has been seriously, meticulously, and effectively implemented by the entire An Giang Provincial Party Committee. This is evidence of the proactive spirit and responsibility of the Party committees and cadres and Party members throughout the province.

Ho Van Mung, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, emphasized: "Although the administrative unit merger requires high concentration and presents many challenges, the province is determined not to let this work affect the quality of the Party Congresses at all levels. This is a broad political activity with decisive significance for the direction and goals of the province's development in the next five years. We must ensure that the congresses are a place to leverage collective intelligence and propose correct policies that are appropriate to the practical situation of the province after the merger."

To suit the specific circumstances of the merger, the Party Congresses at all levels were organized using two flexible methods while maintaining a unified objective: to enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and its members. Specifically, the two-part congresses were applied to the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, and the subordinate Party organizations of the two former Party Committees. The content of these congresses focused on summarizing the implementation of the resolutions of the 2020-2025 term, and outlining directions, objectives, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term. Simultaneously, they focused on discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the draft documents of the next higher-level congress. Notably, these congresses did not elect new Party committees or delegates to the higher-level congress.

The three-part congress applies to Party organizations that have not ceased operations or undergone restructuring or merger after the completion of district, commune, and provincial levels, but have experienced changes in their direct superior management. The congress's agenda includes the two aforementioned parts and the election of the Party committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Strengthening the trust of Party members and the people.

Based on observations, the preparation and organization of Party Congresses at all levels have been led and directed by Party committees at all levels in accordance with the Party's regulations and principles. Lam Minh Cong, Secretary of the Chau Thanh Commune Party Committee, stated: “We have finalized the documents for the Commune Party Congress, only making revisions according to the new guidelines from higher levels. The Congress is scheduled to be held on July 20, 2025. Personnel matters, in particular, have been handled seriously and comprehensively.”

All levels, sectors, and organizations in the province are enthusiastically competing to achieve accomplishments to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. From the beginning of 2025 until now, the Provincial Farmers' Association has mobilized billions of dong to build rural transportation bridges, farmers' homes, drill water wells, and donate thousands of gifts and water tanks to the people. Mr. Mai Van Ranh, 72 years old, residing in Ngoc Chuc commune, said: "With the newly built bridge, travel is more convenient, and the people's trust in the Party is even greater."

The youth of An Giang also enthusiastically participated with hundreds of community-oriented projects. Danh Huynh, a resident of Thanh Loc commune, said: “We are proud to contribute to cleaning up, planting flowers, and hanging the national flag in preparation for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. This is an opportunity for the youth of An Giang to demonstrate their faith in the Party.”

An Giang is gradually realizing its goal of successfully organizing the congress, leading up to the 12th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress. The biggest goal is to continue to enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, consolidate the great national unity and the people's trust in the Party.
