Unified goals, flexible methods

In the past time, in the process of arrangement and consolidation, despite the busy work, the preparation and organization of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term has still been carried out on schedule, closely, ensuring quality, affirming the political mettle and unity in the entire Party. The implementation of Directive 45-CT/TW, dated April 26, 2025 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and related guiding documents has been seriously, closely and with quality by the entire An Giang Provincial Party Committee. This is a testament to the proactive and responsible spirit of Party committees, cadres and Party members in the entire province.

Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung emphasized: "Although the work of merging administrative units requires high concentration and has many challenges, the province is determined not to let this work affect the quality of organizing Party Congresses at all levels. This is a broad political activity, which has a decisive meaning for the direction and development goals of the province in the next 5 years. We must ensure that the congress is a place to promote collective intelligence, propose correct decisions, suitable for the practical situation of the province after the merger".

To suit the specific situation in the merger process, the organization of Party Congresses at all levels is carried out in two flexible ways but still has a unified goal: Improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members. Specifically, the two-content congress is applied to the Party Committees of provincial Party agencies, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and grassroots Party organizations under the two previous Party Committees. The content of this congress focuses on summarizing the implementation of the congress resolution for the 2020-2025 term, setting out directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, it focuses on discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the draft documents of the congress at the direct higher level. Notably, at this congress, a new Party Committee and a delegation to attend the congress at the higher level are not elected.

The 3-content congress applies to Party organizations that do not end their activities or are not reorganized or merged after completing the district, commune, or provincial levels, but have a change in the direct management level. The congress content includes the above 2 contents and the election of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Strengthening the trust of party members and people

Through the actual records, the work of preparing and organizing the Party Congresses at all levels was led and directed by the Party committees at all levels in accordance with the Party's regulations and principles. Secretary of the Chau Thanh Commune Party Committee Lam Minh Cong said: "We have completed the documents for the Commune Party Congress, only editing them according to the new instructions from the higher levels. The Congress is scheduled to be held on July 20, 2025. In particular, personnel work is being carried out seriously and synchronously."

All levels, sectors and organizations in the province are enthusiastically competing to achieve achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term. Since the beginning of 2025, the Provincial Farmers' Association has mobilized billions of VND to build rural traffic bridges, farmers' shelters, drill water wells, give thousands of gifts, water tanks... to the people. Mr. Mai Van Ranh, 72 years old, residing in Ngoc Chuc commune, said: "The newly built bridge makes traveling more convenient, and people's trust in the Party is even greater."

An Giang youth also enthusiastically participated in hundreds of community-oriented projects. Mr. Danh Huynh, residing in Thanh Loc commune, said: “We are proud to contribute to cleaning, planting flowers, and hanging the national flag in preparation for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. This is an opportunity for An Giang youth to show their faith in the Party.”

An Giang is gradually realizing the goal of successfully organizing congresses, towards the 12th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Congress. The biggest goal is to continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, consolidate the great national unity bloc and the people's trust in the Party.
