To proactively respond to dangerous weather at sea, the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Quang Nam province requested strict management of the activities of ships and boats at sea.

Based on the heavy rain forecast, to proactively respond, the Provincial Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control requested Dak Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company to organize operations to increase flow to gradually lower the water level of Dak Mi 4 Hydropower Reservoir to the lowest flood level (+251.5m) before 2:30 a.m., November 14. Operation time starts from 2:30 p.m., November 11. The flow level is equal to the flow to the reservoir plus no more than 200m3/s.

A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company organized an operation to increase the flow rate to gradually lower the water level of A Vuong Hydropower Reservoir to 372.5m before 2:30 a.m. on November 14. The operation started at 2:30 p.m. on November 11. The flow rate is equal to the flow rate to the reservoir plus no more than 150m3/s.

Song Bung Hydropower Company organized the operation to increase the flow rate to gradually lower the water level of Song Bung 2 Hydropower Reservoir to the elevation of 597m before 2:30 a.m. on November 14. The operation started at 2:30 p.m. on November 11. The flow rate is equal to the inflow to the reservoir plus no more than 50m3/s. Actively calculate and organize the operation to ensure that the water level of Song Bung 4 Hydropower Reservoir is not greater than the water level of 216.5m at 2:30 a.m. on November 14.

Song Tranh Hydropower Company organized the operation to gradually lower the water level of Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Reservoir to 167m before 2:30 a.m., November 14. The operation started at 2:30 p.m., November 11. The flow rate is equal to the flow to the reservoir plus no more than 250m3/s.
