Within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam, on the morning of October 23, Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives Tan Sri Dato' Johari Bin Abdul and his wife Puan Sri Datin Noraini Binti Mohd and the delegation of the Malaysian House of Representatives visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

The Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives and his wife, along with the Malaysian House of Representatives delegation, visited the Mausoleum to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero and outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam. Next, the Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives Tan Sri Dato' Johari Bin Abdul and his wife Puan Sri Datin Noraini Binti Mohd, along with the Malaysian House of Representatives delegation, visited the special national relic of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam. Here, the Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives and his wife, along with the Malaysian House of Representatives delegation, were introduced to the history of the formation and development of the first university of Vietnam, a place closely associated with the nation's tradition of studiousness, a place where the quintessence of learning from ancient Dai Viet and present-day Vietnam converged. With its ancient architecture and unique humanistic values, the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam is the link between the history of Hanoi past and present, contributing to enriching the cultural treasure of the nation. In recent years, the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam has become an attractive cultural destination, attracting domestic and foreign tourists. The official visit to Vietnam from October 22 to 25, 2024 by the Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives is of great significance, continuing to consolidate and promote parliamentary relations between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Parliament of Malaysia, contributing to further strengthening the Vietnam - Malaysia Strategic Partnership.
