President of Vietnam Women's Union Ha Thi Nga becomes Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presents the Politburo 's Decision to Ms. Ha Thi Nga

On the afternoon of October 29, Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.

According to Decision No. 1621, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, to cease holding the position of Party Secretary, President of the Vietnam Women's Union; transfer and assign her to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung asked Ms. Ha Thi Nga, in her new position, and members of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee to review the goals and targets set out in the resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, and thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints, policies, and resolutions.

Mr. Le Minh Hung paid special attention to the direction of the Politburo, especially the speech of General Secretary To Lam on strongly innovating the Party's leadership and governance methods, preventing corruption, waste, and negativity; identifying the driving forces to bring the country into a new era, the era of national growth, the era of strong development.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee also noted that Tuyen Quang province should continue to build a streamlined apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently. In particular, streamlining the apparatus and organizing Party agencies to truly be the "general staff", the vanguard leading State agencies; developing productive forces and new production relations, creating strong momentum for development.

Mr. Le Minh Hung hopes that the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee will continue to innovate leadership methods, innovate, be creative, and concretize the Central's direction; at the same time, effectively lead the implementation of socio-economic development tasks.

New Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga was born on February 20, 1969, in Bao La commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province. She has a BA in Literature and a BA in Political Theory.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee; a delegate of the 15th National Assembly.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga has worked in Lao Cai province for a long time and has held the following positions: Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Party's Civil Agencies; Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Society of the Provincial People's Council; Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Secretary of the Muong Khuong District Party Committee; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

In May 2020, the Politburo appointed Ms. Ha Thi Nga to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union. Afterwards, the 9th Conference of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, term XII, elected Ms. Nga to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Women's Union.

On March 10, 2022, at the First Conference of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, 13th term, Ms. Ha Thi Nga was re-elected President of the Vietnam Women's Union.
