On the afternoon of December 2, the Standing Committee of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee convened a meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on personnel work.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Than was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee, announced the opinion of the Politburo , introducing Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
As a result, with absolute votes of confidence, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Previously, on November 30, the Central Party Office issued a document announcing the Politburo 's opinion agreeing to introduce Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, born in 1974, from An Thanh commune, Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh province.
He has a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Economic Management, and Advanced Political Theory.
Before being elected as Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than held the following positions: Chairman of Quynh Phu District People's Committee; Secretary of Quynh Phu District Party Committee; Director of Department of Home Affairs; Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee; Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee.
