On June 26, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired a dialogue with Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phu, Dak Ngo commune, Tuy Duc district about the shortcomings and inadequacies in the assignment of coffee production at Dak Ngo Farm under Dak Nong Coffee One Member Co., Ltd.

In addition to Mr. Phu, more than 100 people out of 300 households in villages 1, 2, 3 of Dak Ngo commune who have contracts with Dak Nong Coffee Company Limited were present.
At the dialogue, the households reflected and proposed 9 contents related to the contract between the two parties. Specifically, the people proposed that Dak Nong Coffee Company return 40% of the capital they contributed to invest in the coffee garden from 2000-2003. The households requested that the company return the products according to the ratio of capital contributed according to the initial agreement.

Representatives of households requested clarification on the Company's breach of the old contract without agreement with the households. The Company must clearly explain the collection of land tax for the land area that the Company has arranged for households according to the contract.
People petitioned the local government to reclaim all land area of Dak Ngo Coffee Farm and return it to local management. The Inspection Agency should re-inspect the content of the conclusions of previous inspections because they were not objective.

At the conference, representatives of departments, branches, and the Tuy Duc District People's Committee answered citizens' comments and recommendations. According to the units, through inspection and review, there was one content of the proposal to reclaim land from Dak Ngo Coffee Farm for local management that was answered by the Provincial People's Committee.

Other contents are under the authority of Dak Nong Coffee Company. Of which, 7 contents have been inspected and concluded by Vietnam Coffee Corporation.

The content of the Company spending about 4 billion VND to invest in land reclamation and planting 28 hectares in the period 2009-2012 has not been considered and resolved because it has just arisen. The Provincial People's Committee has forwarded the reflection content to the Vietnam Coffee Corporation for consideration and response to households according to regulations.

According to the explanation of Dak Nong Coffee Company at the dialogue, the contents related to the incident have been resolved by the company many times but the people did not agree. The company also said that if the two parties could not reach an agreement, they would file a lawsuit in court.

Concluding the dialogue, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested that for the petitions of households that are not under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee, people should submit a lawsuit to the court for settlement according to civil procedure.

If there is reason to believe that the content of the case has signs of violating criminal law, households will send a petition to the Provincial Police for consideration and resolution. Dak Nong Coffee Company must issue a document responding to the petitions of households, to be completed by June 27, 2025.
Also at the dialogue, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that in just a few days, Dak Nong province will merge with Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces, taking the new name Lam Dong province.

The provincial government hopes that people will accompany, support and share with authorities at all levels.
