Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee requested to implement solutions to speed up the progress of 2 key traffic projects.

(DN) - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province Vo Tan Duc signed Document No. 4903/UBND-KTN dated September 9, 2025 to the directors of the Departments of Construction, Agriculture and Environment; leaders of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Binh An and Phuoc An communes on the progress of implementing a number of key projects in the province.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee criticized the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board for its lack of determination in implementing solutions to accelerate the progress of Project Component 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project and Project Component 3, Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City Project. At the same time, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board was requested to strictly implement the contents requested by the Provincial People's Committee regarding the construction of the above projects. Along with that, a report on the handling results was sent to the Department of Construction.

The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board focuses on directing the handling of contractors' recommendations on design changes and construction volume increases at these projects before September 10, 2025.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc also requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and the People's Committees of Binh An and Phuoc An communes to urgently and completely handle the remaining problems regarding the site and relocate the technical infrastructure at the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project; hand over the site to relocate the high-voltage power poles of the Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City before September 10, 2025.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment reviewed and processed the proposal of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board on the allocation of construction stone materials that are still lacking about 160,000 m3 for Component Project 3, Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City.

The Department of Construction continues to conduct weekly inspections of the construction work of the above two projects, especially the slow-progressing packages.

Previously, on September 8, 2025, the Department of Construction reported on the implementation of Project Component 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project and Project Component 3, Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City. Accordingly, in the last week of August 2025, at Project Component 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, the construction progress did not meet the weekly plan. At this project, 6/9 contractors were behind schedule compared to the signed contract.

Meanwhile, at Component Project 3, Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City, there is 1 contractor that does not ensure progress compared to the weekly plan.
