Currently, Dong Thap province is proposing the Government to supplement capital to invest in the Go Cong Coastal Erosion Project (section from Rach Bun Bridge to Den Do) according to the Prime Minister's Conclusion Notice No. 163/TB-VPCP dated April 15, 2024.

The project is about 6.8 km long with a total investment of about 336 billion VND; of which, the central budget capital is more than 302 billion VND, the local budget capital is 33.6 billion VND. The province proposed to allocate 110 billion VND in capital in 2025 to implement the project. Through the survey, comrade Tran Tri Quang requested relevant departments and branches to closely follow the Prime Minister 's conclusion announcement to mobilize capital for project investment.

After listening to the reports of the sectors, comrade Tran Tri Quang requested the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to urgently complete the measurement, adjust the zoning plan, and adjust the area. At the same time, coordinate with related sectors to review whether the project is included in the land use plan or in accordance with the plans so that the province can approve the investment policy; then, continue to carry out the procedures for selecting investors.

Regarding the Binh Dong Industrial Park Project, the locality is currently publicizing the land compensation price for the people. Comrade Tran Tri Quang requested the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to coordinate with relevant units to urgently carry out procedures related to the project's site clearance.
Regarding the Coastal Road Project through the province, comrade Tran Tri Quang requested the Department of Construction to urgently complete the documents and procedures so that the Provincial People's Committee can submit them to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the project investment policy decision in July 2025.
As for the Gia Thuan 1 and 2 Industrial Cluster Project, invested by Tien Giang Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (Ticco), each industrial cluster has an area of 50 hectares. Gia Thuan 1 Industrial Cluster has been completed and put into operation. The occupancy rate at Gia Thuan 1 Industrial Cluster has reached 68.05%. As for the Gia Thuan 2 Industrial Cluster Project, the construction of the approved project items has basically been completed. The entire project is expected to be completed and inaugurated on September 2, 2025.
