The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation inspected the progress of housing construction for the people.
According to the synthesis of housing needs after natural disasters, Huoi Mot commune has 17 houses completely collapsed, 74 houses need urgent evacuation. In Chieng So commune, there are 14 houses completely collapsed, 41 houses need to be evacuated and 30 houses need repair.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation inspected the progress of housing construction for the people.
To ensure the stability of people's lives, the Provincial Military Command and units under Military Region 2 have coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to mobilize forces, select suitable locations, prepare materials, and organize construction and repair of houses. According to regulations, households whose houses have completely collapsed and must be urgently relocated will be supported with 100 million VND/household; households whose houses need repair will be supported with 30 million VND/household.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to officers and soldiers who are performing the task of building houses for people.
To date, functional units have started construction of 29 new houses, relocated 34 houses and repaired 24 houses. The forces strive to complete the construction and repair of houses for the people before September 30, 2025.
Through the on-site inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet praised and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and efforts to overcome difficulties of the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces and local Party committees and authorities. He requested the units to continue to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", focus on human resources, take advantage of time, speed up construction progress, ensure quality and safety of the works, and soon hand over houses to the people.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that the leaders of the Provincial Military Command and commanders of units should pay more attention to the lives and living conditions of officers and soldiers on duty; local Party committees, authorities and people need to closely coordinate with forces to facilitate construction, quickly put the works into use, helping people stabilize their lives soon.
