From June 12 to 15, the Central Inspection Commission held its 29th meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, reviewing many important contents.
Accordingly, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed the results of handling the accusation against Mr. Lam Minh Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province.
The Central Inspection Committee found that Mr. Lam Minh Thanh violated working regulations; lacked responsibility, and loosened leadership and direction, allowing a number of organizations and individuals to violate Party regulations and State laws in personnel work and the procurement, management, and use of biological products, chemicals, supplies, and medical equipment to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.
Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. Lam Minh Thanh with a reprimand.
The Central Inspection Committee requested the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee to lead and direct the review, consider responsibility and discipline related organizations and individuals, and report the results to the Central Inspection Committee.

Also at the meeting, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed the results of the supervision of the Party Executive Committee and comrade Pham Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Executive Committee, Minister of Home Affairs.
Accordingly, in addition to the basic advantages, the Party Executive Committee and the Party Executive Committee Secretary, the Minister still have a number of violations, shortcomings, and limitations in developing, promulgating, and organizing the implementation of working regulations; in leadership, direction, consulting, building institutions, legal policies; in personnel work, emulation, and rewards.
The Central Inspection Commission requested the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra to promote their strengths, promptly lead and direct the review, draw lessons, overcome the violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out, and report the results to the Central Inspection Commission .
