At the Department of Health, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and the delegation presented flower baskets and gifts, sending the best wishes to the officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Department of Health in particular and the health sector in general on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the health sector has an important role and position, and is respected and honored by the whole society. In the past time, the Department of Health has performed well and excellently completed the assigned tasks.
In state management, the Department has seriously implemented the professional guidance of the Ministry of Health ; the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee. In addition, the Department has seriously organized the implementation of projects and directives issued by the Ministry and the province.

The Department of Health has also coordinated with departments, branches and localities to effectively and qualitatively carry out the tasks of the sector in the area. Up to now, the Department has completed and exceeded 5/5 targets in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, 6/6 targets assigned by the Provincial People's Council, 8/9 targets and tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, and 12/13 targets of the sector.
With a large area and large population, the need to develop a network of medical examination and treatment is very large. The Department has advised and led, implemented the development of a network of medical examination and treatment facilities in the province.

Currently, there are 35 hospitals in the province, including 13 provincial hospitals, 7 district hospitals, 15 private hospitals and 3 ministry hospitals, 14 centers with beds. Thereby, meeting the needs of medical examination, treatment and health care for the people.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assessed that the quality of medical examination and treatment at medical facilities is increasingly improving. The reception and implementation of high-level, specialized techniques are increasingly receiving attention, serving the needs of people in the province, the region and Laos.

The attitude and medical ethics of cadres, doctors and nurses are increasingly improved and have clearly changed. The work of directing research, applying scientific achievements, and training and development is focused on and well organized. The health sector is one of the sectors with very positive results in administrative reform, application of information technology, and digital transformation; paying attention to social security work.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung affirmed that the health sector has played an important role in building and gradually affirming itself as the health center of the North Central region.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung acknowledged, warmly commended and highly appreciated the results that the health sector has achieved in the past time; at the same time, respectfully thanked and expressed gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the health workers for the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.

Sharing the difficulties of the industry in the past time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung noted that in the coming time, the Department of Health needs to proactively inspect, monitor, and review the operations of medical facilities to promptly correct and avoid errors; pay attention to team building; and increase the mobilization of non-budgetary resources to invest in the industry's facilities.
In the coming time, the head of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Health to seriously and effectively implement the contents related to the health sector in Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo. Based on the Provincial Planning, the planning contents of the sector have been integrated, the Department is interested in implementing, meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of the people, especially people in mountainous areas.

The Department of Health also needs to pay attention to implementing preventive medicine well; continue to implement measures to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment; strengthen state management of public and non-public medical facilities; promote administrative reform and digital transformation; strengthen human resource training; continue to handle existing problems and difficulties.
Next, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and the delegation visited and sent congratulations to the team of cadres, doctors, nurses, staff and workers working at the Provincial General Friendship Hospital on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the attention, gratitude and recognition of the whole society to those working in the medical field, the medical team, and those who carry out the sacred duty of curing and saving people.
Recognizing, appreciating and praising the hospital's outstanding achievements in recent times, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee felt proud that the hospital had performed many highly specialized and specialized techniques, deserving to be the final unit in terms of technical expertise in medical examination and treatment in the North Central region.

Up to now, the Provincial General Hospital has performed nearly 11,000 techniques from the provincial and central levels, many high-level techniques, specialized techniques; including organ donation and organ transplantation from brain-dead donors, thereby helping to reduce the load on the central level. The hospital has treated nearly 129,000 inpatients; examined and treated more than 350,000 outpatients; the bed occupancy rate reached nearly 118%.
In addition, the Hospital has strengthened comprehensive foreign cooperation with Special Central Hospitals, university hospitals, and specialized hospitals nationwide; established 5 new specialized units based on departments, centers, and 3 management consulting units in specialized fields. The Hospital is also a typical unit in social security work.

Sharing the hospital's difficulties in purchasing chemicals, supplies, medical equipment and adjusting planning, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that the goal set by the Provincial General Hospital is to become a Special-class hospital in line with the goal in Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo.
To achieve the above goal, it requires not only high determination, great efforts, and drastic actions from the hospital and the health sector, but also from the province. However, in addition to determination, the hospital must base on the actual situation and organize and implement systematically to achieve it in a certain and sustainable way. The hospital needs to develop a project, build a roadmap, and assign specific tasks.

In the immediate future, the Hospital needs to continue to promote its role as the final unit in terms of technical expertise in medical examination and treatment in the North Central region, especially in implementing advanced and specialized techniques. In addition to receiving from central hospitals, the Provincial General Hospital must transfer techniques to lower-level hospitals.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also requested the hospital to continue to promote its expertise to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment. The hospital's team of doctors and medical staff must promote their intelligence, talent, enthusiasm, responsibility, love and dedication to carry out the noble and sacred task of curing and saving people, worthy of the title "a good doctor is like a mother, a physician is like a kind mother".

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial General Hospital to step up planning and rearranging facilities, especially focusing resources on investing in facilities, equipment and facilities to meet the requirements of medical examination and treatment. Continue to train and improve the quality of the hospital's medical staff; strengthen digital transformation, administrative reform and application of information technology. In particular, the hospital needs to pay attention to the regime and policies for the team of doctors and medical staff so that they can work with peace of mind.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also requested the Provincial General Hospital to effectively and properly implement the procurement of chemicals, supplies and medical equipment at the hospital.
