Working with enterprises in Dongguan city, Guangdong province (China), Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that Nghe An is always open and has prepared the necessary conditions for Chinese investors to come to research, survey and invest in the area. On the afternoon of May 27, continuing the working program in China, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Nghe An province met and worked with enterprises in the Dongguan Federation of Industry and Commerce, Guangdong province and Best Pacific Group. Joining the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province was comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and leaders of departments, branches and sectors. Attending the meeting were representatives of VSIP Group, WHA and Hoang Thinh Dat. In Dongguan city, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung visited the product introduction room and production line of Yu Tong Science and Technology Group. Working with the Dongguan Federation of Industry and Commerce, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province Nguyen Duc Trung said that the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and China is increasingly developing in the spirit of a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. Localities, including Nghe An province, are always proactive in seeking opportunities to expand cooperation with localities and partners from China. This working trip of Nghe An province to China aims to expand opportunities for cooperation in trade and investment development; introduce the investment environment, mechanisms and preferential policies that Nghe An province currently has for investors to come to research, survey and invest in Nghe An; organize investment connection activities with businesses, especially businesses investing in industrial park infrastructure in Nghe An with Chinese businesses. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that, as a locality with the largest population, area and economy in Vietnam, Nghe An province is always open and has prepared the necessary conditions to call for investors to come and research and invest in the area. In the past 3 years, Nghe An province has achieved encouraging results in attracting FDI capital from foreign investors, with the focus being Chinese investors. To date, Nghe An province has attracted 44 projects from Chinese investors with a total registered investment capital of more than 2.331 billion USD.

Chinese FDI projects in Nghe An mainly focus on the fields of manufacturing electronic components, auto parts, solar energy equipment, optical lenses, products serving the clean energy and green energy industries. After visiting and working with enterprises in Dongguan city, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Dongguan enterprises have strengths suitable for the fields that Nghe An province is calling for investment, especially the fields of manufacturing electronic components, smart devices, optical devices, etc.

To welcome investors, Nghe An province has prepared "5 readiness": First is planning readiness; Second is essential infrastructure readiness; Third is investment site readiness; Fourth is human resources readiness; Fifth is procedural support for investors. In particular, Nghe An province's planning has been approved by the Prime Minister and is being implemented. The province currently has 5 industrial parks with about 2,000 hectares that have been synchronously invested in infrastructure, meeting the requirements of investors. The province is continuing to expand the area of ​​new industrial parks with the goal of having about 23 industrial parks with an area of ​​more than 8,000 hectares by 2030.

On the other hand, the traffic connectivity from Nghe An to Vietnam's economic centers has been gradually improved, the province is calling for investment in deep-water ports and upgrading and expanding the international airport. Nghe An currently has about 1.6 million people of working age, many vocational training facilities serving the needs of skill training for workers. In particular, the authorities at all levels of Nghe An province are always ready to accompany investors right from the research and survey stage, learning about investment opportunities to the implementation of procedures and when the project goes into production, ensuring the highest efficiency for investors.

Currently, Nghe An is one of the localities that the Central Government has created favorable conditions for, issued special mechanisms and policies, thereby helping the province have more authority to decentralize procedures in a faster and more transparent manner. At the conference, enterprises in the Dongguan Industry and Commerce Federation highly appreciated the potential, strengths and advantages that Nghe An province currently has, as well as the results of attracting FDI investment of the province in the past few years; at the same time, they shared some issues and wishes to invest in Nghe An in the coming time.

Thanking the evaluation of Dong Quan enterprises, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung hopes that Dong Quan enterprises will come directly to experience the actual investment environment of Nghe An. Regarding energy, Nghe An province is particularly interested and has worked with infrastructure investors to ensure the best essential infrastructure, including energy infrastructure to ensure the best production for investors. The Vietnamese Government and the Prime Minister are giving strong direction in ensuring the energy infrastructure system, providing energy for production and consumption.

After 20 years of development, the company's current total assets are approximately 720 million USD, annual output value is over 650 million USD and total number of employees is over 10,000 people. Factories are present in Sri Lanka, China, Vietnam and the US. In Vietnam, the company has invested in 2 projects: Best Pacific Vietnam Project in VSIP Hai Duong Industrial Park and Premium Fashion Project in WHA Nghe An Industrial Park with the knitted sportswear industry.

After listening to the introduction, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung congratulated the production and business results that Best Pacific Group has achieved in the past time; at the same time, he wished the group to develop further and achieve its set goals. Dongguan Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was established in 1956. This is a people's organization and chamber of commerce led by the Communist Party of China, with non-public enterprises and non-public economic employees. The Federation is a bridge between people in the non-public economic sector and an assistant to the Government in managing and serving non-public organizations and the public economy. Currently, the Federation has 210 group members, including 32 town federations of industry and commerce, 99 non-local chambers of commerce, 79 chambers of commerce associations and more than 30,000 member companies.
