Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang visited the family of Mr. Bui Minh Tien (in Dong Thuan Village, Binh Son Commune)
The delegation visited the families of soldiers who participated in the battle that led to the victory at Van Tuong, including: Mr. Do Hoang Thanh, a soldier of unit C2, D60 and Mrs. Pham Thi Hong, a soldier of unit C31, both in village 5, Van Tuong commune; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuc (in Hai Nam hamlet, Van Tuong village, Van Tuong commune), a soldier of D40; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nuoc (in Tuyet Diem 1 hamlet, Van Tuong commune), a soldier of D40 and Mr. Bui Minh Tien (in Dong Thuan hamlet, Binh Son commune), a soldier of D90.

At the families he visited, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang kindly inquired about the health and life of the veterans; expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of previous generations to the cause of national liberation and unification. The Chairman hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, encourage their children and grandchildren to study hard, practice, and contribute to building their homeland to be more and more prosperous and civilized.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang emphasized that the Van Tuong Victory was a brilliant milestone in the history of the revolutionary struggle of the army and people of Quang Ngai, opening the movement of "Finding the Americans to fight, hunting down the puppets to destroy" throughout the South, contributing to strongly encouraging the fighting spirit of the army and people of the whole country. This is a source of pride, a valuable lesson about the indomitable will, solidarity and aspiration for independence and freedom of the nation, which needs to be preserved and promoted to educate traditions for today's and future generations.
