Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee: Grassroots level must be close to the people, grasp difficulties, and make recommendations for timely resolution

Here, many voters' opinions related to land issues, social security policies, planning, construction, traffic, compensation and site clearance... were submitted to the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City.

Voters in Thang Truong commune asked the Government and the National Assembly to find a solution to stabilize the price of agricultural materials because recently prices have increased very high, greatly affecting farmers.

In addition, there are solutions to support farmers because the African swine fever situation is complicated. In addition, there should be a mechanism to support fishermen to borrow capital to build large capacity ships to go out to sea and protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands.

Voter Nguyen Cong Nhan pointed out that previously, the People's Council of Quang Nam province issued Resolution 32 on funding support for building storm shelters. However, the support source is still low and will end in 2025. With the characteristics of a coastal commune, people hope to continue to receive support from this resolution.

Many urgent opinions on land issues, granting land use right certificates, land division, site clearance compensation, and resettlement of projects were also expressed by voters.

Speaking at the meeting with voters, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An said that at this meeting, there were many opinions from voters related to land and policies, and the leaders of communes, departments and related branches had also basically answered them.

According to him, when implementing a two-level government, especially at the grassroots level at the commune level, it is necessary to be close to the people, grasp the people's thoughts, aspirations, difficulties, problems, recommendations and proposals, promptly resolve them or report them to competent authorities for resolution.

Hopefully in the coming time, the commune leaders will continue to collect information from voters to provide instructions, explanations, and handling, especially for long-standing backlogs.

He also suggested that in the future, before meeting with voters, the commune and department levels must grasp and handle the content first, and not wait for the meeting with voters organized by the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council before people have the opportunity to speak.

According to him, the opinions of voters after today's meeting were fully recorded, and the departments and branches continued to explain in writing and respond. If there are any issues within the responsibilities of the departments and branches, and localities that need to be handled, they must be monitored and evaluated.

He also hopes that in the coming time, the commune, departments and branches will continue to have instructions and directions for implementation to ensure that petitions will gradually decrease and voters and people will have conditions to develop production and business, improve their lives, and infrastructure will be invested in and planned by the state in a systematic and orderly manner.
