Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam received and worked with the Board of Directors of MK Group

On the morning of December 13, 2024, Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received and worked with the Board of Directors of MK Group (Russian Federation). Also attending were leaders of relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, Mr. Igor Panfilov, Chairman of MK-Group and Vice Chairman of the Peace Foundation (Russian Federation) said that in early 1993, MK-Group started investing in Dam Vua salt field in Ninh Thuan province and officially put into operation raw salt production in 1996. Currently, Dam Vua Company Limited is producing on an area of 365.5 hectares in Tri Hai and Nhon Hai communes, Ninh Hai district. In 2024 alone, the total output of the Company will reach 55,000 tons, the output will be 62,000 tons with a total revenue of 68 billion VND, contributing 2.6 billion VND to the budget, helping to create jobs for 80 local workers. Mr. Igor Panfilov thanked Ninh Thuan province for its support for the Company's production activities over the past 30 years, and at the same time wished to accompany Ninh Thuan province in social security work.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the production activities of Dam Vua Company Limited in Ninh Thuan over the past 30 years, which have contributed to stabilizing the security of the salt industry nationwide. This is also the pride of the province in the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes and hopes that with his experience, resources and affection for Vietnam and Ninh Thuan province, Mr. Igor Panfilov, Chairman of MK Group, will continue to have a strategic orientation for development, diversifying post-salt products, combining with developing tourism from salt fields; at the same time, linking and supporting salt farmers and salt production cooperatives in the locality to develop together. With the goodwill to accompany the social security work of the province, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam acknowledged and said that he will direct the relevant agencies to coordinate with MK Group in implementing social security activities in the province in the coming time.
