The Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises (Party Committee of the Bloc) currently has 78 grassroots party organizations (45 party committees and 33 party cells), 7 departmental party committees, 311 party cells directly under the grassroots party committees and departmental party committees with 4,892 party members.
In 2023, closely following the goals, targets and tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security of the province, the Party Committee of the Bloc has issued many documents to lead and direct grassroots Party committees to coordinate and direct expertise, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers to actively advise and propose solutions to help the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee lead and direct activities in various fields to achieve important results, contributing to the successful implementation of the set targets and tasks.
The Party Committee of the Bloc, through the Party Cell and Party members, proactively grasped the business situation; coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to organize 4 rounds of public opinion surveys among cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees and workers at a number of affiliated Party Cells with over 1,630 votes; from there, proposed and recommended that the province implement appropriate solutions.
On the other hand, in order to encourage and motivate enterprises in the bloc to overcome difficulties and challenges, strive to complete the socio-economic development goals and tasks of the province in 2023, the Party Committee of the Bloc organized a meeting with enterprises on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day, October 13, and organized the signing of an agreement for enterprises in the bloc to use each other's products and services between the Provincial Post Office and Quang Tri Trading Corporation.
In addition, the Party Committee of the Bloc has directed grassroots Party committees to continue to promote the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive 05-CT/TW on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; resolutely prevent, repel and strictly handle cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; orient the content of building the annual exemplary commitment of cadres and party members to ensure substance and clarity.
Continue to effectively carry out internal political protection work. In 2023, political standards were concluded for 556 cases, of which 521 cases served cadre work, 35 cases served party member development work; 37 cases were approved at the request of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to serve cadre work.
The Party Committee of the Bloc also directed the affiliated Party organizations to promote digital transformation, operate the Bloc Party Committee's Electronic Information Page in an orderly manner, posting 292 news articles and attracting more than 2.7 million visitors.
At the meeting, the Party Committee of the Bloc focused on clarifying a number of difficulties and obstacles, and at the same time proposed key directions and tasks for 2024 in areas such as: leading the implementation of political tasks, national defense and security; leading Party building work and innovating the leadership methods of Party committees.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc recommends and proposes to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to promptly develop a Project to build policies to support businesses in developing and applying e-commerce; pay attention to allocating funding sources for the Party Committee of the Bloc to renovate its headquarters; promptly arrange funding for the Party Committee of the Bloc to deploy and implement the digital transformation contents agreed upon by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; promptly approve and arrange fees for renting the electronic Party Member Handbook system of the Party Committee of the Bloc to deploy and implement throughout the Party Committee; provide a policy for the Party Committee of the Bloc to organize the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Party Committee of the Bloc, and continue to pay attention to the personnel work of the Party Committee of the Bloc.
Based on the report and recommendations and proposals of the Party Committee of the Bloc and the opinions of the leaders of the Party Committees and the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung requested the Party Committee of the Bloc to continue to effectively implement the inspection and supervision program, ensuring quality and efficiency. In particular, focusing on inspection and supervision in the field of preventing and combating corruption, negativity and waste and considering this as the top priority task in 2024.
Pay attention to political and ideological education for cadres and party members; create ideological and political unity in the whole bloc, consensus in society, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of party organizations and party members.
Improve the quality of activities in branches and grassroots party committees under the Party Committee of the Bloc, while focusing on solutions to develop party members in enterprises, affiliated colleges, and in the Bloc Youth Union and Provincial Civil Servants' Union.
The Provincial Party Secretary basically agreed with the key directions and tasks for 2024 proposed by the Party Committee of the Bloc. At the same time, he gave specific opinions on the recommendations and proposals of the Party Committee of the Bloc; assigned tasks to the Party Committees, the Provincial People's Committee and related units to continue to pay attention, support and accompany the Party Committee of the Bloc to successfully carry out the assigned political tasks.
