Phap Hoa Pagoda gives 500 Tet gifts to people

- On the morning of January 21, Phap Hoa Pagoda coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province and My Xuyen ward (Long Xuyen city) to present 100 Tet gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the area. Secretary of the Party Committee of My Xuyen ward Ngo Nhut Thang, representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province attended.

Giving Tet gifts to people

Accordingly, 100 gifts were given to the people, each gift worth 350,000 VND, including: Rice, instant noodles, soy sauce, sugar, cooking oil, MSG. The total cost was 35 million VND, supported by Phap Hoa Pagoda and Buddhists of Long Xuyen City.

Venerable Thich Nu Nhu Dinh, Abbot of Phap Hoa Pagoda, said: “On the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025, Phap Hoa Pagoda supports 500 Tet gifts worth 175 million VND, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Orphans and Poor Patients of An Giang province to give to people in Phu Tan, Tri Ton, An Phu districts and Long Xuyen city.

This is a meaningful activity, accompanying the local government to ensure that everyone, every family has Tet, no one is left behind. Thereby, it is hoped that the poor and people in difficult circumstances in the area will strive to rise up, develop the economy, reduce poverty, participate well in campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Fatherland Front and organizations, build a cultural life associated with socio-economic development, maintain political security - social order and safety in the locality.
