Yen Bai - On the morning of February 4, January 7, At Ty year 2025, Tung Lam - Ngoc Am Pagoda ( Yen Bai city) held the death anniversary ceremony of the founder Thich Dam Phuc to commemorate the great merit of the founder who devoted his whole life to the Dharma, contributing great merit to the construction of the Tam Bao Tung Lam - Ngoc Am.

The founder Thich Dam Phuc's secular name was Hoang Thi Phuc, born in 1860, and became a monk at the age of 19. In 1946, he went to Yen Bai to take care of the construction and preservation of Tung Lam pagoda and later officially became the abbot of the pagoda.
During his life of Buddhist activities, the Master made many contributions to preserving and embellishing Tung Lam - Ngoc Am Pagoda, and actively participated in social charity activities.
He was a delegate to the Congress of Delegates to establish the Unified Buddhist Association of Vietnam and was honored to be one of the two oldest monks and nuns at the Congress to meet Uncle Ho; participated in the Viet Minh Front, Lien Viet Association and was a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Bai province.
At the ceremony, monks, nuns and delegates performed incense offering rituals to commemorate the merits and pray for national peace and prosperity, and happiness for every family...
