According to the report of the Land Fund Development Center, as of July 30, 2025, the Land Fund Development Center currently has 05 specialized departments and 05 affiliated branches with 309 people. Regarding professional tasks, the Center is in charge of compensation and site clearance for 06 key projects in the old districts before the rearrangement and is implementing more than 41 other projects and works related to industrial parks, residential areas, and traffic. The total number of land locations assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Center for management and auction is 25 locations in communes and wards, equivalent to an area of 607.54 hectares (of which 10 locations with an area of 79.76 hectares are eligible for auction, the remaining 15 locations with an area of 527.77 hectares are completing procedures to be eligible for auction).

For the Tay Ninh Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the total number of staff currently at the Center is 105 people. Regarding professional duties, the Center is carrying out compensation and site clearance for 22 key projects in the districts and cities of the former Tay Ninh province, including many national key projects such as the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway Project (Component Project 4), the Project to Upgrade the Martyrs' Cemetery of Hill 82 - Tay Ninh, etc. In the work of auctioning land use rights, the total number of locations assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Center for auction management is 46 locations, equivalent to 426.88 hectares (including 08 land plots being auctioned according to the Provincial People's Committee's policy, 05 land plots not yet eligible for auction).

According to the draft Project, the Land Fund Development Center will merge with the Tay Ninh Provincial Land Fund Development Center to form the (new) Land Fund Development Center under the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee. After the merger, the (new) Land Fund Development Center will have 15 units (05 departments and 10 branches), reducing 07 units; the total number of employees after the merger is expected to be 414 people, with 34 positions.
At the meeting, representatives of the Land Fund Development Centers and delegates focused on discussing and proposing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles when implementing the merger and reorganization of the Land Fund Development Centers. The difficulties and obstacles were mainly related to financial work, revenue and expenditure activities of the Center; some mechanisms and policies on compensation, support and resettlement have not been specifically regulated, leading to confusion when implementing compensation and site clearance work; for the cadastral database, there were cases where it was not updated promptly, leading to errors in issuing land recovery notices, land recovery decisions, compensation and support decisions. The Land Fund Development Center also recommended that the Provincial People's Committee soon issue a Regulation on coordination in handling procedures for approving investment policies, granting investment registration certificates, and selecting investors to implement investment projects outside industrial parks and economic zones in Tay Ninh province after the merger so that the Center can coordinate with sectors and localities to complete investment procedures to implement land use rights auctions.
Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Dinh Xuan clarified some difficulties in the operation of the Center.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam highly appreciated the Land Fund Development Center in site clearance, land price determination and clean land exploitation, serving the work of attracting investment and developing the local socio-economy.

Pointing out the existing problems and obstacles in the organization of activities, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam requested that as soon as the Decision to establish the new Land Fund Development Center is issued, the Center's Board of Directors quickly stabilize the organization, complete the personnel, ensure finance, and speed up the progress of key projects; At the same time, urgently review the problems and obstacles that affect the progress of the implementation of previously assigned tasks, especially in the coordination mechanism to promptly have plans to adjust and remove them, ensuring the progress of the project.
