Be prepared to ensure electricity for consumption and business

The Prime Minister praised the working spirit of the staff and workers of Mong Duong Thermal Power Plant, especially during the hot season when the demand for electricity consumption and the risk of power shortage increased; contributing to ensuring electricity for consumption and business of people and enterprises. The Prime Minister also requested the unit to do a good job of forecasting and preparing conditions to maintain production, ensuring the plant operates at the right capacity, ensuring safety for production and labor.

Visiting Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant, the Prime Minister shared that the current hot and dry season is the peak season for electricity use. Therefore, power plants must strive to ensure safety, good operation, and maximize the design capacity of the plant.

Inspecting the coal mining situation at the Ha Tu Coal Joint Stock Company construction site, the Prime Minister requested the company to continue organizing 3-shift production to meet coal demand for production and export, especially supplying coal to thermal power plants.

After the on-site inspection, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the working delegation had a working session with ministries, branches, the Electricity Corporation, and the Coal and Mineral Industries Group on the situation of electricity production and supply, and coal exploitation and supply for electricity production.
