VIX Securities Adds Another Major Shareholder

With this ownership level, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet has become a major shareholder of VIX Securities Joint Stock Company.

The closing price of VIX stock on October 2 was 16,000 VND/share.

Recently, VIX Securities has approved a plan to consult shareholders and adjust the 2023 business plan.

Specifically, on September 12, VIX Securities closed the list of shareholders to collect written opinions, the time for collecting opinions is from September 20 to October 16.

In particular, VIX Securities presented shareholders with a plan for after-tax profit of VND920 billion compared to the plan at the beginning of the year of VND540 billion, equivalent to an increase of 70.4% compared to the plan at the beginning of the year. In addition, VIX Securities also presented shareholders with a dividend plan for 2023 expected to be 10%.

In the second quarter, VIX Securities recorded a sharp increase in revenue of nearly 700 billion VND, nearly 2.5 times higher than the first quarter and more than 2 times higher than the same period in 2022. Profit also increased by more than 565 billion VND, more than 50 times higher than the first quarter and nearly 10 times higher than the same period in 2022.

At the close of trading on October 2, VIX Securities stock price was VND16,000/share. Previously, from the beginning of May to mid-September, VIX stock increased about 3 times from the price range of nearly VND7,000/share to nearly VND21,000/share. In the past 2 weeks, VIX stock had a price adjustment to the range of nearly VND15,000/share before recovering to the range of VND16,000/share.
