Journalist Ta Bich Loan praised students from 3 schools: University of Languages ​​and International Studies - Vietnam National University, Hanoi , Hanoi Medical University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in the final match of the New Generation Student 2024 contest.


"We can believe in the creative power of young people and you have proven that today. Looking back on the journey from summer 2024 until now, I feel your abundant energy, efforts and passion in each project. This is not only a competition but also an opportunity for you to discover yourself, bringing creative and valuable solutions to the community. It is very difficult for me to determine the winning team today because all 3 competing teams are so great." That is the sharing of Dr., journalist Ta Bich Loan when witnessing and judging the Final round of the New Generation Student Competition 2024 which took place dramatically at Hoang Mai Stadium, Hanoi, broadcast live on VTV3 channel on the afternoon of November 9.

The University of Languages ​​and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi with the SignBySign project has excellently won the championship of the New Generation Student Competition 2024. Right from the first rounds, SignBySign – a project supporting the hearing impaired – has made a strong impression on the judges and the audience with its profound humanity and high application potential. The team has worked hard to research and survey the reality to understand the difficulties that the hearing impaired encounter in life, thereby developing a club to support communication, learning and community integration.

The team from the University of Languages ​​and International Studies - Vietnam National University, Hanoi said: "We feel very happy and excited. The journey and the results are well worth the efforts of the top 6 teams as well as all members of the SBS club and all students and teachers of the University of Languages ​​and International Studies - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. We would like to thank the New Generation Students 2024 journey. We are truly grateful for this journey."

The two runner-up teams are Hanoi Medical University with the project “Tell Me” – supporting mental health care for relatives of inpatients in Hanoi; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Vietnam National University with the project ALOI – food wrap extracted from aloe vera.

The Champion team received a Commemorative Medal and a total prize of 200 million VND. The two Runner-up teams also received Commemorative Medals and 50 million VND in cash each. Previously, the University of Languages ​​and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi also won the "Most Favorite Team" award.

The 2024 New Generation Student Program has become an exciting playground where young people have the opportunity to express their creative ideas, bring value to the community, nurture passion and aspiration, and promote the spirit of entrepreneurship and social responsibility in the young generation.
