According to the band's explanation, Dopamine (the happy hormone) is what the brain secretes when people feel happy and excited. On the contrary, if there is a lack of dopamine, the body will fall into a state of decreased enthusiasm, reduced concentration and become sluggish. With catchy melodies and inspirational lyrics, Dopamine received a lot of positive feedback from the audience.

Sharing with Dan Viet about the difficulties in choosing Rock music in Vietnam, 7UPPERCUTS said: "The band 7UPPERCUTS started and will always play Rock simply because that is the musical language of each member, which is also the reason why the members want to play music. The band has never thought about playing music according to what the market wants and listens to. We are lucky to have a part of the audience supporting us like today to be able to live 100% thanks to music, for 7UPPERCUTS, that is already a huge success".

7UPPERCUTS revealed that in 2023, the group will try to release more quality products as well as participate in events to develop Punk culture in particular and live band music in general in Vietnam. They will join bands such as Da So Toi, Jaigon Orchestra and 8teen8teen to promote the movement of self-composition and self-arrangement for young bands.

Talking about the Punk music genre the group chose, 7UPPERCUTS said: "Punk is a genre of music born from culture and lifestyle. People who come to this genre of music sometimes do not have or do not place too much emphasis on technical precision and professionalism like other genres of music. In return, it is necessary to focus on transforming energy, conveying lifestyle through products and performances.

In Vietnam, this genre of music will face a big barrier when Vietnamese audiences are too used to listening to music with a lot of techniques. Vietnamese artists are also used to creating music like that. The success of Hip Hop, specifically Rap in the past few years, is a good sign for all music genres that focus on culture and lifestyle that are trying to develop in Vietnam."

7UPPERCUTS consists of 3 official members: Aki, A Dinh and A Lam. It is one of the few Vietnamese Rock bands founded in 2017 and released its first album "Summer Jam" in 2018. Originating from the desire to live and spread Punk culture, as well as create a new definition of "Punk music sung in Southern dialect" , 7UPPERCUTS has had a journey of more than 5 years of effort and dedication to Vietnamese Rock music with outstanding products such as: "Wave Alpha", "Love", "No Internet", "Hide and Seek", Album "Summer Jam"..., in which the MV "No Internet" - the band's product in collaboration with Rap Viet Season 2 Champion Seachains has reached nearly 9 million views on Youtube Video. 7UPPERCUTS also received an excellent nomination for the Mai Vang Award in the Singing Group category in 2022.
